Gameplay

Select Oblige is a romance-themed visual novel where players take on the role of Nagi Fuwano. Most of the gameplay involves reading the text that appears on screen, representing the narrative and dialogue of the story. The text is accompanied by character sprites, which show who Nagi is speaking to, along with background images depicting the setting. During key story moments, players will encounter special event CGs where the background and character sprites are replaced by detailed illustrations of the scene.

Players will have the opportunity to experience up to four storylines, each centered on a different heroine. Throughout the game, players will encounter decision points where the game pauses until a choice is made. Some decisions may lead to early endings.
